Camp Kindness Counts believes in the power of kindness within kids and families to transform our existing communities into happier, healthier, and stronger ones. We empower youth and families with research-based tools and more importantly experiences which support both social and emotional well-being. When individuals flourish then our communities can flourish. Camp Kindness Counts focuses on 3 areas to support well-being: character development, service learning, and mindfulness. The majority of our programs have the capacity to reach families globally through both virtual and in person platforms. Details on our services:• We offer enrichment and summer camps where we provide a supportive peer environment and empower and inspire kids to lead with kindness• We connect families and communities through family service events• We engage schools and caregivers with youth focused character development resources and services in our Kind World Explorers programWe've grown from working with 16 elementary students in 2012 to impacting more than 9000 youth, caregivers and educators during the past 8 years. We are grateful to partner with entities such as the UC Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center, Bellevue School District, Eastside Pathways, and Allegro Pediatrics. We also partner with wonderful organizations like Friends of Youth, Forterra and the Humane Society serving the elderly, homeless, animals, and our environment.We invite you to reach out any time to learn about our programs.
