WHAT IS CAMP TAUM SAUKEstablished in 1946, the traditional, overnight summer camp for kids ages 8 to 15 is dedicated to providing an amazing camp experience in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. With a wide range of land and water activities, it's time to take a break from technology to create memories that will last a lifetime. OUR GOALOur goal is to provide campers with a memorable camp experience in a safe, nurturing, and cooperative atmosphere. We cultivate a safe environment where campers are encourage to try new activities, foster friendships, and develop self-confidence. We help campers gain respect for others, the community, and the environment, all while experiencing new activities and places.OUR HISTORYFounded in 1946, Camp Taum Sauk has been owned and operated by the Smith family since 1958. Nick Smith, as the camp director, continues his family's legacy by applying years of experience to develop a unique summer camp with a driving concern for safety and an emphasis on individual care and child development.
