Camp Unity Eastside provides safe shelter and support for adults experiencing homelessness. Camp Unity is a tent village that provides shelter for residents in a community setting while they are working to regain stability. Each resident is a responsible and active part of keeping the camp running. The camp maintains a code of conduct, including no drugs or alcohol. A volunteer board oversees camp management, seeks host organizations and manages finances.We work in partnership with faith communities, individuals, businesses, and other organizations. Faith communities and other hosts provide a location for camp consistent with local regulations (typically up to 120 days per stay). Generous volunteers and donors provide meals and many supplies for residents.Thanks to caring donors, volunteers and other community partners, Camp Unity Eastside has been sheltering and supporting people in need since 2012.
