FROM THE BEGINNINGOur salt story is much wider, much higher and much deeper than meets the eye. in 2018 I turned my lifetime dream of becoming an entrepreneur into a reality by taking the plunge into the world of salt. My family originally come from a small city in the south of Portugal called Vila Real St Antonio where it turned out produced for the past centuries at a local level on of the best sea salt in the world. I decided to contact the local cooperative to learn more about the process and understand how I can export this amazing product here in the US. My goal was to find a way to produce an exceptional product, but also to create a product that will be beneficial for the local community in Portugal.After months of hard work, CAMPO DE SAL was created with only one goal in mind "THE BEST OR NOTHING". - President & Founder - Edouard CAMPOS
