CampWrite UNC Details
CampWrite UNC is a student-run organization that prepares for and provides a two-week summer day camp for local middle schoolers and high schoolers. The camp is free of cost and focused primarily on creative writing, where a set of volunteer counselors deliver lessons on topics like fiction and poetry and help assist campers with growing their skills. During the year, members help prepare for the camp through fundraising, advertising, and community outreach. This is a great organization to join if you love kids and are interested in developing some teaching skills, especially in creative areas. The camp is extremely fun and laid-back, and a great way to meet and bond with other UNC undergraduate students.
