The Canada-Arab Business Council (CABC) is a Canadian chartered, non-profit organization formed in 1983 by the Canadian private sector. Its members are Canadian firms and government organizations seeking to promote and enhance two way commercial relations between Canada and the Middle East and North Africa.The CABC undertakes a program of events in Canada such as conferences, the Canada- Arab Economic Forum and export business seminars. The Council also organizes business missions to and from the Middle East. These missions are managed in close cooperation with Provincial and Federal government partners. Each winter, the CABC organizes the annual Canada –Arab Economic Forum and Gala Dinner in Ottawa. Speaking events and seminars on business opportunities in the Arab world are held across the country. The CABC works closely with both the Federal and Provincial governments to strengthen the trade and economic connections between Canada and the Arab world and to support policy development conducive to building these links.
