Canada Carbon Inc. Details

Canada Carbon's Miller Graphite Project may well be the only significant hydrothermal massive lump/vein graphite property in North America, comparable only to the highly valued deposits mined in Sri Lanka. And similar to Sri Lanka, the Company believes that the hydrothermal graphite may have been emplaced in a district-wide geological event. Canada Carbon has acquired the mineral rights to approximately 100 square kilometers of land surrounding the historic Miller lump/vein graphite mine, and is actively exploring the land package. An extensive graphite characterization program is underway, which has already demonstrated that the Miller graphite is of extremely high purity, and highly crystalline.Milestones for Canada Carbon: • Hydrothermally upgraded graphite meets nuclear graphite purity standard (EBC = 0.94 ppm), and ultra-high overall purity of greater than 99.965% C(t). October 15, 2013 • Rapid thermal upgrading removes greater than 90% of impurities, producing 99.9978% C(t), with an EBC = 0.97 ppm. December 12, 2013 • Bulk sampling permit allowing the removal of up to 480 tonnes of ore for metallurgical upgrading. March 10, 2014 • Scanning electron microscopy reveals the highly ordered crystalline structure of the graphite. April 29, 2014 • 43-101 compliant Technical Report filed to SEDAR. May 6, 2014 • Analysis of aerial geophysics (VTEM) identifies 11 high priority and 82 secondary exploration targets which are now the subject of prospecting, mapping, and ground geophysical confirmation, in preparation for a diamond drill program. May 8, 2014 • Flotation concentration trials yield an overall grade of 98.4% C(t), with the three largest crystal sizes (+65, +48, and +32 mesh) grading 100% C(t). June 4, 2014 • Six confirmatory GD-MS analyses demonstrate that flotation concentration alone is sufficient to yield graphite of nuclear purity (EBC range: 1.18-2.61 ppm), with overall graphite purity not less than 99.78% C(t). June 17, 2014.
