Founded in 2006 Canada Day International began by organising the inaugural celebration on Trafalgar Square in London showcasing the best of Canadian Business, Tourism, Music, Art, Culture, Sport, Food and Drink. With over 350,000 attendees in the past seven years it has become the largest celebration outside of the countries borders. In 2017 Canada will celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the British North American Act of 1867. Our vision is to take the success of Canada Day London and expand to iconic locations in other global Centers. On June 29, 2013 the inaugural Canada Day New York will be held in Central Park and on June 21 Nuit Boreale will be featured as part of Fete de LA Musique in Paris. Hong Kong, Rio, Beijing, Mumbai, Tokyo and the UAE will all be considered as we launch one new city a year between now and 2017. With support from our corporate and community partners on July 1, 2017 we will hold simultaneous events around the world to showcase the best of Canada.Join our page and follow us as we bring this project to life.
