I am writing a book and I need your help! Most of us likely have, or know of someone who has had, a "Healthcare Horror Story", or just plain old bad healthcare!It definitely isn't a surprise, nor is it a secret, that healthcare in Canada (or anywhere, for that matter!) is far from perfect. I always make the joke that "you get what you pay for, and since healthcare is free....." So the aim of this book is to raise awareness of the state of healthcare in Canada, not to say that it should be moved to a paid system, but that it isn't acceptable for these sorts of events to happen and go unnoticed. I wish for everyone's (anonymous) voice to be heard, so together we can speak out against what we see is wrong with our healthcare! For this book, I'll be collecting 2 types of stories:1. From individuals who have had a bad healthcare experience in Canada.Some rules to take note of when sending in your story: please change all of the names of people and places (like town, city, hospital, etc.) to protect identities. This includes your own name!2. From individuals who have experienced a positive Healthcare experience in Canada.Healthcare doesn't have to be all doom and gloom! There are many great health experiences out there as well, so we want to include these stories as well! The same rules apply as above: please change all names and details of the story!Your submissions will remain completely anonymous (except to me of course, when I first read them).
