The Canadian Hydronics Council (CHC) is the only organization dedicated strictly to the interests of the hydronic heating industry and is truly the 'Home of Hydronics' in Canada. The CHC and has represented Canada's hydronic heating industry for over 40 years. With participation from each of CIPH's regions, as well as the Thermal Environmental Comfort Association of BC, CHC is truly a national council. Our mandate allows us to participate in the following: Education and Certification of national training standards; Government Relations including participation in codes and standards development; Industry and Consumer Marketing . Canadian Hydronics Council considers itself the most complete source for Canada's hot water heating industry whether it is seeking technical expertise; industry consultation; consumer-friendly information; or just plain "know-how." CHC passionately believes that hydronics provide the highest levels of comfort in home heating. The Council also commits effort to ensuring that minimum standards, such as the CSA B214 Installation Code for Hydronic Heating Systems, are in place as a basis for consumer protection and safety. This is why CHC promotes training and certification to ensure a reasonable level of competency by those installing hydronic-heating systems.
