Hospital & Health Care - Markham, Ontario, Canada
The Canadian Integrated Health Alliance (CIHA) is a not-for-profit organization launched in 2016, that aims to improve patient outcomes by connecting key stakeholders in government, academic medicine, and industry. We will accomplish this through regional Ecosystems - a powerful force for change, as their combined knowledge expands revenue, reduces costs and solves complex problems. Each Ecosystem inspires a dialogue between health and social care stakeholders that include: Policy makers, Industry, Healthcare providers, Patient advocates and Investors. CHIA's approach to stakeholder collaboration provides a platform for common ground enabling healthcare organizations to connect and resolve key issues and drive sustainable change.Today, many organizations in different healthcare disciplines develop their own passionate agendas for change in our health and social care systems. The challenges they face, represent barriers to delivering on their goals and objectives. CIHA will bring a new level of discourse to push past these agenda limitations, establishing a global brain trust, supported by a new digital connected platform. CIHA has been created in Canada as a logical extension of the European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance). ECHAlliance has grown from a small beginning to now encompass direct representation in 40 European countries, through 500 member firms and with a coalition of 16,000+ healthcare, business, government, and funding contributors bringing expertise, skills, and thought-leadership to remove the barriers to optimal health solutions. Members benefit from an online presence, connecting with their national and international counterparts. Similar units have also begun in China and the US to extend this collaborative framework. Our vision – is clear. To build a Canada-wide network of stakeholders empowered to connect, collaborate, and build cost-effective, relevant, patient-centric outcomes.Join Us!
