The Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation (CMF), a registered charity, was founded in 2008 by people whose lives were personally affected by mesothelioma, a cancer that is almost exclusively linked to asbestos exposure. We raise awareness and understanding about the link between asbestos exposure and mesothelioma. We support mesothelioma patients and their families and caregivers by providing information and support groups. We are developing an online network of medical expertise in mesothelioma diagnosis, treatment and care across Canada.
