Whoever said you had to do it all in your business? Smart business owners recognize that they can't - and then they find the right people to hire earlier on in their business. I found that I kept taking courses to learn new skills, and it was actually keeping me from moving forward in my business until I realized that I couldn't and shouldn't be the EXPERT in every function of my business. I can be the visionary for my business, but I do need others to embody my vision and make it real.I was eager to run a business that contributed to people's lives and gave me a purpose. I was struggling, mostly between balancing work, motherhood and a business. So I started looking for others to mentor me. What I found was, they might have been brilliant at their profession, craft or modality, but most of them didn't know how to run a profitable business. They were working primarily one on one with their clients and charging very minimal fees. They could not grow.I had my own headaches along the way...some of my own processes failed, or I didn't follow them exactly. Not everyone speaks contracts or tech, and that created communication issues and unhappy clients. I had to learn to ask questions differently, document everything and over communicate even when I think they got it or knew it or already had it written out. And, I realized that I was offering way more than what I had positioned myself for and wasn't really happy being the doer. I was underpricing myself, my services and underestimating the work. It was an uncomfortable place to be for many reasons. I learned, I tweaked my own processes, I found gaps and I found solutions.I'd love to do the same for your business - create the customized solutions for you and your business so that you can have a business that operates efficiently, and that has a foundation that is built to be scaled.
