Cannella Spirits is dedicated to bringing you hand-crafted cinnamon spirits, and good cheer.\\Cannella Spirits Manifesto\Throughout our lives there are different judging sticks. Grades, money, toys, "followers"…. but when the hour has come to look back on our lives, there's only one that ends up meaning much.\\How we've spent our time.\\There's good times and crap times and plenty of utterly boring times, but it's clear to me that they are all made better by spending a good bit of them with the people we care about, and by taking the time to celebrate everything from the spectacular to the mundane.\\There's a Spanish word I have fallen in love with, which describes a scene I would like to see more in the U.S. It also happens to be the perfect time to enjoy our cordials.\\"Sobremesa" (literal translation is "over the table") is the leisurely time after you have finished eating, but before you get up from the table. Instead of rushing off the instant you've taken your last bite, sobremesa is time spent in conversation, digesting, relaxing, enjoying. Looking back, many of my favorite evenings were spent this way, with no agenda, nowhere to be. A beautiful word, and an inspiring way to live!\\The secret, I think, is to allow the time for life to evolve as it might if we weren't over-scheduling ourselves. It's how I attempt to live, and how we produce our cordials at Cannella Spirits. We could use extracts and other shortcuts and mass-produce something that's good enough for your average bar shelf. But like sobremesa, the most important ingredient is time. So we give all of our cordials just the right amount, for the spices to present themselves as they are meant to.\\There's a long history of cordials and liqueurs being shared during important moments. From our family to yours, we wish you many of those moments, in good company. And enough time to see where they may lead….
