Founded in 1982, Cantemus (Latin for "Let us sing") sings an eclectic and boundary-expanding variety of music, enriching the lives of singers, audiences, and community. Cantemus explores musical literature of the 16th to the 21st centuries in a cappella and accompanied styles. It is a non-profit group consisting of up to 40 singers. Cantemus Chamber Chorus is a small chorus of skilled singers dedicated to performing a wide range of choral music for North Shore audiences. By careful, diverse programming and skillful, expressive performance, we bring music to life, to enrich the lives of singers, audiences and community.
