Caparo Power Limited (CPL) has set up a Gas-Based Group Captive power plant at Bawal, Haryana . The captive power plant has been set up under the Electricity Act 2003 which requires power consumers to hold at least 26% of equity and consume more than 51% of the power generated.The plant began operations in February 2012 and posted a profit within its very first year of operations & keeping same momentum.Presently Caparo Power is generating & supplying power to all the key industries in Bawal IMT.Caparo Power has laid dedicated HT Underground cable for every consumer to ensure high reliability of system.Caparo Power is maintaining 99.57% + uptime to its business partners/ consumers.
