Capital Advisors Partners Asia (CapAsia) is an award-winning private equity firm that invests in the infrastructure sectors of Emerging Asia with South East Asia as a home market. Founded in 2006, the firm has raised in excess of USD 500 million in capital and currently manages three infrastructure funds with over USD 250 million in assets under management. CapAsia is majority owned by the Rohatyn Group (TRG), a private investment firm focused on emerging markets, with the CIMB Group as a significant shareholder. The firm was originally established as a joint venture between Malaysia's CIMB Group and South Africa's Standard Bank.CapAsia is headquartered in Singapore, where it is licenced as a Fund Manager by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and has offices in Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta.
