The company was founded in 1970 by Nello Capecchi, which started its business in the dairy products distribution sector, leaving the position of Sales Manager of the Giglio until then covered.At the untimely death of the Founder in 1987, his son Roberto succeeded him in running the family business which, in the meantime, developed in the sector of the distribution of foodstuffs to schools, hospitals, company canteens, etc.The development of the business and the company evolution, from Snc up to the current S.p.A., led to a strong growth in turnover volumes and an increasing role on the reference market.In 2008 the Capecchi S.p.A. acquires the right to surface on industrial land of about 11,000 square meters inside the C.A.R. (Centro Agroalimentare Roma) and starts construction of the new headquarters, which became operational in September 2009.Thus began a new phase in the life of the company and in the history of the Capecchi family, made of total dedication to a market that, for the first time, sees a Roman businessman commit personal financial resources in a very important investment, at the service of operators of commercial and collective catering in Lazio.
