It starts with us being entrepreneurs, not financial engineers. We are entrepreneurs, brand builders, and business owners. We are not professional investors. We are not managing other people's money, we invest our own capital into businesses, sometimes with partners. We seek to acquire well established and cash flowing businesses that are going through some form of transition or are organizationally stuck. We want to partner with the leadership to help the business grow, with long term view and permanent capital. If as business want to sell to a financial sponsor or to a strategic, or use a professional sell side advisor, then we are not the right fit, and we are ok with that.Our core skill are organization growth and cultural engagement, resulting in financial gains and cultural impact. We do not run the businesses longer-term; our Presidents' and their management teams run them, make the decisions. The Management Teams own between 10-30% of our businesses; we rarely acquire 100%
