The Capital Region Food Share Network Society works together to contribute to the enhanced health of people and local communities in the Capital Region. We believe that no one should go without access to fresh, local, nutritious food.To us, food security is not only about access to food, but it is about having the resources to access the food you want, when you want it, without compromising nutrition or other essential needs.Our focus is on enhancing food security by supporting the foundations that reduce the number of people that do not have reliable and consistent access to nutritious, culturally relevant food. We are working towards this goal by strengthening community links and supporting access to resources that support self-sufficiency.
