It was incorporated in California in 1978.Capitol Electric is a member of the San Francisco Electrical Contracting Association (SFECA) and the National Electrical Contracting Association (NECA).Capitol Electric's primary business is commercial electrical work. This consists of interior electrical wiring of office spaces and retail spaces in commercial buildings such as high rises.This type of electrical work consists of power and lighting for these spaces, along with fire alarm systems and emergency power systems. Capitol Electric has, over the years, worked in most of the high rises in the financial district of San Francisco.
