Did you know that most companies are using insurance carrier programs to provide wellness programs to their employees? Most of these solutions offer very little for small businesses. Their offerings are self directed, meaning that each employee must take the initiative to log on to a website, and figure out what they would like to do. In addition, There is no evidence of effectiveness. In fact, data from four insurance carriers show these programs reach less than 2-5% of employees. This proves that insurance carriers self directed programs have very poor participation. Sadly, if you choose to change insurance carriers you will loose all the wellness efforts along with the investment. We are different.
