Carbon and Steel Ltd is a team of creators and craftsman designing and manufacturing high quality furniture items from raw steel. The industrial style in interior design is well established and recognised in the UK and we have seen a demand for a range of complementary products which form a collection for the retail, hospitality, workplace and residential sectors. Our vision is to produce stylish yet simple furniture and products that are easy to source, specify and purchase online – taking away the need to order bespoke where we have several popular size options available online, in stock and easily configured and ordered to suit any fitout project whether it be an office, restaurant or retail shop.  Sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do. With steel as our base product we have possibly the ultimate sustainable material, as steel can be infinitely recycled using little energy in the process. Our table tops are made from birch ply imported from Eastern Europe – where the abundance of the silver birch (Betula pendula) coupled with its fast growing properties mean that there is little impact on the environment.   All our products are on a maximum 2 week leadtime so if out of stock it will still give a quick and efficient solution for any project manager delivering a project across the UK. Our steel products are built by our fabricators in our workshop in Five Oak Green, Kent, and table tops are produced in our joinery shop in Shoreham, East Sussex.
