Carbon Initiative Forum (CIF) is a non-profit that aims to empower the youththrough the mainstreaming of climate policy in education in India. We are a comprehensive platform to ask the right questions to the right people and gain clarity, while also educating the public about existing, impactful, in progress solutions toward the climate crisis in our country. We don't believe that climate change has a single solution. There are a variety of solutions and we need to take collective action.Our target audience includes youth of age group 14-28 years. That being said, our target audience does not merely limit itself to the youth, but wishes to empower citizens and corporations across the country to get aware and to get involved.Our vision is to become a national platform, growing and collated by the people and, fore-fronted by people from all walks of lives who can connect with the youth.The objective is to create city level chapters in a structured organization which works at city level issues. This movement will be run by dedicated volunteers who act as climate champions.We want to create a community of change-makers who will enable a larger movement and consequently a larger impact wherein the current authorities, the government, businesses and industries could be held accountable.
