Carcavelos Surf School was founded in 2001 as the first surf school on Carcavelos beach, Lisbon. The school is certified by The Portuguese Surfing Federation and by Turismo de Portugal (The Portuguese Tourism Authority).The school (which is very close to the centre of Lisbon) introduces students to the sports of surfing and bodyboarding, and has developed its teaching on two levels to this end – initiation, as well as technical improvement. We have students of all ages, both male and female, and at all skill levels from beginners through to competitive surfers.
