Cards for Hospitalized Kids is a national charitable organization that gives handmade cards to kids being treated in hospitals across the United States. Doctors provide medicine and Cards for Hospitalized Kids provides hope, joy and magic through handmade cards. Volunteers across the United States help fulfill the mission of Cards for Hospitalized Kids by making and then sending in handmade cards that Cards for Hospitalized Kids distributes to hospitals across the country including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Children's Memorial Hospital, Miami Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospitals and many others. Since Cards for Hospitalized Kids was first founded in March of 2011, more than 6,000 hospitalized kids have received cards from them.
