Care Intent was founded by consumer and digital health product veterans Philippe Cailloux and Abhijit Kalamkar. We are on a mission to help reduce the growing economical impact of type 2 diabetes (T2D), the most expensive chronic condition in US (est. $350B/y) by supporting healthcare professionals and the affected individuals manage the conversations so critical to the successful care delivery process.We are currently exploring and analyzing the complex nature of this relationship, at the crossroad of psychological, social, and biological information alongside with healthcare leaders, researchers, and patients.We are weighing the most urgent issues at hand, such as engaging vulnerable and underserved communities, supporting patients between visits, integrating advanced technologies like CGMs, addressing physician exhaustion, or running diabetes education programs effectively at scale.We bring our experience developing consumer and healthcare products with a strong emphasis on simplicity, user engagement, and user experience.If you want to know more about what we are up to, or if you have a personal interest in the field, please reach out to us.
