Caremongering Penang is a community-based platform to connect the public with various volunteer groups, NGOs, Government offices, and most importantly, each other. In times of need, such as the present COVID-19 crisis, community-based platforms like Caremongering Penang can quickly mobilise, identify needs big and small as they arise, and immediately respond to direct those in need to available aid from Government sources, NGOs, individual volunteers, and the many other aid groups.Caremongering Penang is partnered with a registered NGO, ENGAGE for all public fundraising activities. https://www.facebook.com/engage.my/We are recognised by the Penang State Government as a Volunteer Organisation.We are part of a working group with the UNHCR, MRA and Persatuan Komuniti Berdikari to identify Refugee needs and quickly bring aid to Refugees.We are working with the Indonesian Consulate and Cambodian Embassy to bring aid to migrant workers, as well as utilising our own volunteer base for aid sourcing and distribution.We work alongside JKM, Civil Defence, PDRM, and other Government entities.We have a rapidly growing community volunteer base of 1200+, and an active all volunteer-based team coordinating aid. We quickly bring aid with 0% admin cost.
