Carfagno Cleaning provides presentation cleaning solutions to small business offices under 5,000 square feet as well as house & window cleaning in the Harleysville / Indian Valley Area.Teresa Carfagno founded the family cleaning company in the Capital District of New York in July 2005. She was a stay-home mom wanting to add extra income and Ken worked as a mechanical engineer for GE. Circumstances changed and Ken took ownership of the family cleaning business in 2006. He became a vendor for Coldwell Banker Prime Properties' Concierge Service in February 2006.Ken persisted during the first 3 years as the realtors & stagers of Coldwell Banker smoothed his rough edges as a cleaner and taught him the art of Presentation Cleaning. Ken's reputation grew as he helped many realtors sell their homes faster and the referrals started. Early on, Ken employed up to 5 cleaning technicians. However, he made a key strategic decision to work solo again in late 2008. Ken also added professional office & window cleaning services to the company portfolio.Over the next 10 years, Carfagno Cleaning was selected for other preferred vendor networks and grew throughout the Capital District mostly through word-of-mouth. Business was great, but Ken & Teresa were unsettled in their hearts and wanted to go back home. This desire became a reality in mid-2018 when the Carfagnos sold their New York client list to a dear friend, Ian Traynor of Albany Pure Cleaning.The Carfagnos are super happy and now live in the Harleysville, PA Area, fully invested into their church and community. Ken currently cleans the offices for Gehman Design Remodeling, EJS Medical Billing, and the Pennridge Animal Hospital.
