Caring Hands Workers' Association Details
The Caring Hands (Manos Carinosas) Program of Mujeres Unidas y Activas, a Latina immigrant women's group, is a child care, housecleaning and home health care provider referral service. We are a bilingual grassroots project promoting comprehensive job training for Latina immigrant women to offer high quality care in the Bay Area. We are not an employment agency and never charge for referrals or receive commission from worker's wages.Caring Hands (Manos Carinosas) members are reliable, caring, multi-cultural/ bilingual and CPR/ First Aid certified.Our members have all completed rigorous training programs in quality child care and our service is available in San Francisco, Oakland and the East Bay. Caring Hands members are reliable workers who are individually known to us and come highly recommended. They all take part in child care within our organization as well as monthly childcare committee meetings where they discuss new and innovative ways to improve childcare methods.
