Caritas Development Institute (CDI) is the Training and Research Centre of Caritas Bangladesh. CDI was established in 1983 to extend training, evaluation, and research services to the Caritas project to staff and other NGO personnel, people's organizations, and Church and ethnic institutions in Bangladesh. Since its inception, CDI assisting Caritas projects and other development partners through continuous innovative practices. Caritas Development Institute contributes to the orientation of development activists, enhances knowledge and skills, and develops positive attitudes utilized for improved performance. In January 2010, CDI started its journey as a Trust of Caritas Bangladesh. Team spirit, openness, and transparency are the key determinants of organizational performance. Lastly, CDI wants to establish itself as a proactive force for sustainable development.
