Our GoalOur goal is to provide comprehensive eye and vision services in a truly caring manner. We pride ourselves on understanding the different needs of individuals of all ages.Our StoryOur story begins in 1952, when Dr. Herbert "Ted" Halliday began his practice of optometry. Over the next 35 years, he developed a loyal patient base by caring for the people of the Carlisle area. Dr. Yorkgitis joined the practice in 1983 and introduced specialty children's care and vision therapy as new services. In 1988, Dr. Grieneisen came aboard and brought with him additional general optometric and vision therapy knowledge. In 2002, the practice moved to its current location on State Avenue. Our latest addition is Dr. Derek Kramer who adds greater medical treatment of eye disease and specialty contact lens services. We continue to invest in the latest technology and treatment regimens to provide the residents of Carlisle and surrounding communities the best care available.
