Colombian-born Carlos Rico left FIT back in 2003 with an associate's degree in menswear, and a place in the Bachelor's Program at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College in London. Gaining experience working under both Benjamin Cho in New York and Alexander McQueen in London during his undergraduate years, his debut collection showcased at the 2006 London Graduate Fashion Week to outstanding reviews, and earned him a spot at Central Saint Martins Master's Program, studying under the tutelage of Louise Wilson.Rico graduated from Central Saint Martins College with a Masters in Fashion Menswear in the Spring of 2008, and by the Fall of 2009 he was a finalist at the 11th Annual GenArt Styles Awards/Styles 2009 for the Design Vision Award Menswear in New York City.
