CREATE WITHOUT DESTROYING THE PROJECT: CARMINA CAMPUS IS A PROJECT OF CREATIVE RECYCLING APPLIED TO FASHION AND DESIGN. ITS MISSION IS NOT BEING JUST A PROFIT-MAKING COMPANY BUT ALSO A PROMOTER OF WIDER ENVIRONMENTAL KNOWLEDGE AND GREATER ECOLOGICAL CONSCIOUSNESS. IN CARMINA CAMPUS CONCEPT RECYCLING AND REUSING SHOULD BECOME COMMON PRACTICE IN THE EFFORT TO PRESERVE A BALANCED RELATION WITH THE ENVIRONMENT. CAMPAIGNS OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT IN FAVOUR OF WOMEN'S HUMAN RIGHTS OR ENVIRONMENT SAFEGUARDING ARE ALSO REFERENCE POINTS OF THE CONCEPT. DESIGNER:ILARIA VENTURINI FENDI IS THE YOUNGEST OF ANNA FENDI'S DAUGHTERS. SHE HAS BEEN WORKING FOR LONG IN THE FAMILY COMPANY AS ACCESSORIES CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF THE FENDISSIME LINE. AND SHOE DESIGNER FOR FENDI. SHE LEFT THE COMPANY YEARS AGO TO BECOME A FARMER DEVOTED TO ORGANIC AGRICULTURE. THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE SHE DEVELOPED A SPECIAL BOND WITH NATURE AND FOR SOME TIME SHE TOTALLY DEDICATED HERSLEF TO THIS ACTIVITY. WHEN SHE LATER FELT LIKE RESUMING HER OLD JOB, BOTH EXPERIENCES WERE FUNDAMENTAL IN DEVELOPING THE CARMINA CAMPUS PROJECT. THESE TWO DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES COEXHIST AND ARE INTIMATELY RELATED, AS COMMON BACKGROUND FOR CARMINA CAMPUS' UNCONVENTIONAL APPROACH TO CREATIVITY. PRODUCTS: HANDBAGS, ACCESSORIES AND FURNITURE ALWAYS ONE OF A KIND.
