Web-Don has been in the building materials business since 1972, with our primary emphasis on countertops. In early 2009, our management team decided to jump into the cabinet business.During the first of what turned out to be almost a year-long series of meetings on the subject, it was determined that there would be only one way that we were going to move into this market segment: with massive inventory levels and with top-notch quality.A search through dozens of manufacturers ensued. Hundreds of cabinet door samples were inspected. An experienced cabinet consultant was brought in. After hundreds of hours of discussions, final door style and cabinet color decisions were finally made in late 2009. We began working on logistics and planned for a spring 2010 roll out. As usually happens with projects this large, there were delays, but by the fall of 2010 Web-Don was officially in the cabinet business. Staying true to our roots being based primarily in the Carolinas, the new venture was branded "Carolina Heartwood Cabinetry".
