Phase 1 & 1b Clinical Research Unit based in Raleigh, NC. Specializes in First-in-Man and other early phase clinical studies with healthy volunteers and special patient populations for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Site Facilities: • 24 Tempur-Pedic® Beds in multiple private/ semi-private/ interchangeable rooms • Nursing station with dedicated infusion and patient monitoring areas • Courtesy telephones • CLIA waived lab • Drug Storage, restricted access room with 2, -20°C freezers and 5 refrigerators for drug/sample storage (locks on all) • Sample Cold Storage, -70°C freezer for drug/sample storage (locked), -80°C freezer for drug/sample storage (locked with real time temperature monitoring and alarms), liquid nitrogen storage, redundant temperature monitoring with generator back-up • Drug administration: Class 2 Biosafety Cabinet for sterile product preparation/PBMC isolation • Extended Stay, PD/PK, Sample collection, Emergency personnel on-staff and on-site, hospital within one mile of facilities, Nutritional Services: Chef and PhD nutritionist on-staff, dedicated to designing special protocol-dictated meals, 24 Hour safety monitoring, On-call emergency staff and crash cart with AED • Monitoring Accommodations: Five (5) private offices with wired/wireless internet, private copier, fax, scan, shredding, phones, refrigerator & coffee maker Experienced research staff ready to meet your development goals efficiently and effectively!
