Carpe Dance is a Seattle based non-profit organization that is bringing the Nationally acclaimed Dancing Classrooms program to 5th grade elementary school classrooms. Dancing Classrooms is a social development program for 5th grade children that utilizes ballroom dancing to transform the lives of children and our community. Our Mission is to build social awareness, confidence and self-esteem in children through the practice of social dance, empowering children, their parents and their schools. Our Vision is to reclaim the art of social dance as a cultural norm.
