Construction - Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States
Carpenter Project is a one-for-one model that works to build houses for at risk refugees in Uganda. When you partner your house with Carpenter Project, a small portion of the cost goes towards building sustainable housing for a refugee family. Its founder, Will Hansen, envisions economic growth and social change for these at-risk individuals. His construction company, Hansen Bros. Construction, developed this model for his own houses and in doing so has improved the lives of people from Central America to Uganda. Carpenter Project now seeks partnerships with local construction companies to expand its ability to connect people building homes to refugees in Uganda needing sustainable housing.
