Machinery - Rovigo, Veneto, Italy
The logo was created in the 1960s when the main activity of the Group was agricultural machines. It now represents a strategic aspect of Carraro's core business, which focuses on transmission systems for agricultural machines and earth-movers.The Rovigo plant is where the entire specialized range of tractors for the niche orchard and vineyard environments is conceived, designed and produced. Running parallel to this in the same facility, a range of specialized tractors is manufactured for well-known OEMs like John Deere, Massey Ferguson and Claas. It is partly due to this synergy that the approach to production at the Rovigo Carraro plant has evolved significantly over the last few years, becoming a signature center that is recognized on an international level. The current Carraro tractor range is centered on four main models (Orchard, Wide Orchard, Low Orchard, Vineyard, Wide Vineyard and Wide Low Vineyard) which are available with engines that produce anywhere from 80 to 100 horsepower and respond to the diverse needs of the end users.
