The CAR/SAM Regional Committee for the Prevention of Birdstrikes and Wildlife Hazards, CARSAMPAF, is a non-profit entity, founded on October 24, 2003 in Santiago de Chile, Republic of Chile, at the request and under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Our main purpose is coordinate and integrate actions to reduce the number of aviation accidents and incidents, resulting from wildlife collisions with aircrafts.
