ABOUT US Casa Kakaw is the creation of chocolate enthusiasts that began experimenting with the now world-famous yet once exclusive and sacred fruit of the Mayan cacao tree. The company today has its roots in Mexico's tropical and exuberant southeast, same area in which our ancestor, the 1st Duke of Atrisco and Viceroy of New Spain, acquired a vast estate during the colonial period under the Spanish. His rule helped impulse the export of chocolate into Spain and elsewhere in Europe in the form of a sweet delicacy. Today, Casa Kakaw has the aim of bringing back the exotic flavours of Mexico's aromatic cacao into the XXI century, producing fine chocolate brownies from the premium ingredients available to us without the need of artificial colours or preservatives. ¿QUIÉNES SOMOS? Casa Kakaw es la creación de entusiastas del chocolate, fruto del exclusivo y sagrado árbol de cacao Maya. Hoy en día, la compañía tiene sus raíces en el exuberante sureste tropical de México, donde nuestro antepasado, el primer Duque de Atrisco y Virrey de la Nueva España, adquirio vastas tierras y una hacienda durante la colonia Española. El ayudo a impulsar la exportación del chocolate a España y al resto de Europa en la forma de una dulce delicia. Casa Kakaw tiene como meta el traer los exóticos sabores del aromático cacao Mexicano al siglo XXI, horneando brownies de fino chocolate a partir de ingredientes de primera calidad sin la necesidad de colorantes artificiales ni preservativos.
