Casa & Putea is a meeting place, between cinema and psychology, between the elderly and the young, between old stories and new ways of telling them. Casa & Putea takes its cue from the most widespread model of life in Salento, the "casa", a place where one takes care of oneself and the family, and the "putea", the place where one's craft is cultivated, one's own art. Our goal is to offer a complete program of activities for the psychological and social well-being of older adults. Moreover, to preserve the stories, anecdotes and memories that constitute a cultural and immaterial heritage of the territory. How? Through psychology and cinema and audiovisual, and the construction of a small archive. Casa & Putea offers for young people the opportunity to get closer to the cinema through filmmaking workshops, as well as activities for the dissemination of film culture on the Capo di Leuca, through meetings with authors and projections.
