Cascadia MedTech is building a medical device cluster in Federal Way, WA. The company assists professional medical staff in identifying the best ideas, developing the intellectual property and establishing a path for the inventions to become commercial products. Many medical technology innovations are never commercialized because at point-of-care, there is little support for medical professionals to capture and process their ideas and inventions. Cascadia MedTech fills that need. We specialize in supporting MedTech companies, whether they are just at the prototype stage or they are more mature and profitable. Our core business is to enable owners of intellectual property (IP) to move their innovations from point-of-care in hospitals, clinics and private practices and from research organizations and new ventures into the marketplace. We help founders deal with investors and acquirers, and provide on-going mentoring for the team. Our vision is to unlock the potential of opportunities by offering a powerful suite of resources and tools, empowering inventors to commercialize their IP. In exchange for the services and funding, we secure a fee and equity stake in our portfolio companies, giving us a vested interest in their success.
