Catalyst Lighting is a fresh new equipment provider that brings innovative and creative solutions for facilitating all budgeted productions.Catalyst Lighting Chicago was started in 2009 by three close friends who met while attending Columbia College's film school. With a strong dedication and passion for film making their goal is to take the independent film market to a new level of professionalism while making equipment easily accessible and affordable for those who could not get their hands on it before. The trio gained their knowledge from film school, crewing on sets, and working at other Chicago lighting stages. Combing their creative talent and knowledge they formed Catalyst Lighting Chicago. Currently Catalyst Lighting is renting out equipment to film/video sets of every caliber and has a close working relationship with Realistic Films, a start to finish production company. Their inventory is constantly growing and maintained by an experienced team of professionals.
