BACKGROUND;CathSam School, with its appropriate Motto "A Firm Foundation", was established as a Kindergarten center to cater for the educational needs of the dwellers in Umoja Innercore and its environs.It was officially opened by Mr. & Mrs. Jeremiah Kebuthu, the parents to the director of the school at a colorful function that included tree planting sessions held on 19 December 1998 and attended by friends and family members. Thereafter, it had its first intake of pupils in January 1999.Currently, the school's total assets exceed KSh 200 million with a student population of over 800 pupils. The school has boarding facilities with a capacity of 360 boarders (70 pupils already boarding) and is in the process of constructing modern staff quarters.Cathsam School is located at Umoja Innercore Nairobi along Moi Drive on spacious and beautiful premises and in an environment conducive for effective learning.
