Cause Reign offers two main services -- Divination Ceremonies and DREAM School Classes and Workshops. Divination Ceremonies are the demonstration of several ancestral traditions through performance and storytelling. This is done in small groups of 2-4 people. The DREAM School embodies the acronym Dream Reclamation, Energy and Ancestral Healing, and Matriarchal Praxis through the following methods:All work is spiritual, especially anti-colonial liberation work. (Be Hoodoo)Walk in a commitment to archive and preserve lineage dream medicine (Be Hoodoo)5 Practice Guidelines to Walking in Matriarchal PraxisPractice Guideline #1: Savor your own medicine and the cultivated medicine of DREAM School. (i.e. follow the protocols and your individual protocols while guiding the student dreamworkers.)Practice Guideline #2: Create your care plan with proactive/provocative spiritual hygiene and rest practices. For teaching staff, be sure to use physical tools (such as cowrie shells) to hold a container for your cohort dreamworkers.Practice Guideline #3: Remember we are all healing from the trauma of colonial schooling & take your time with deciding your language to guide current student dreamworkers.Practice Guideline #4: The "In Session Schedule" is for teachers and support staff to plan their care practices and navigate how they are guiding student dreamworkers with gentle reminders.Practice Guideline #5: Be in gratitude to each other and remember to ask for support (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and financial).
