As part of growing those skills we implemented ‘Hawkins People' as the first line of HR service support for managers. Hawkins People is our application of the "Ochre" online HR resource. We then looked to train our managers in core people management skills using CBC workshops because it provided a customized case based and practical learning experience for our managers. Around sixty managers have participated in these workshops. The combination of Hawkins People and CBC has given our managers resources and skills to tackle important HR issues.
