Phybridge is a Canadian manufacturer of networking infrastructure specifically for the telecommunication sector. Our product is designed to transition customers from their old telephony (digital or analog) systems to the benefits of IP telephony and unified communications. Our solution involves less capital cost, reduces operational costs and allows a rapid, easy deployment of the IP telephony infrastructure compared to traditional methods. Telecommunications strategies in the Healthcare, Government, Corporate, Banking, education sector, etc. are often exposed to excessive infrastructure costs when attempting to gain the benefits of IP telephony. Phybridge provides the industry method of avoiding the majority of those costs by leveraging the existing telephone cabling and infrastructure to provide Ethernet and Power over a single pair of wires with our UniPhyer switch. Our patent pending technology is different than regular data switches, requiring only 2 wires (regular Ethernet needs 4 wires) and the UniPhyer provides power to the IP phones over distances exceeding 400 meters (regular Ethernet switching only reaches 100 meters).
