CCA is a student collective that aims to provide COVID relief initiatives to support marginalized communities.We have five ongoing projects. Our first initiative, The Helpdesk is a database of verified resources for COVID patients. Our second initiative is the Food Chapter, which aims to connect families who are willing to make extra food with quarantined families that need it. We are expanding this project to distribute food supplies to inaccessible tribal areas around Nilgiris. Our third initiative, The Info Desk, focuses on breaking down information to curb the panic that accompanies testing positive for COVID. Our fourth project is a fundraiser through which we have donated oxygen cylinders to Government Hospitals. Currently, we are working with the Coimbatore Corporation and the Department of Health and Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu to help vaccinate marginalized communities.
