CedarTree Publishing provides Editorial, Self-Publishing and Printing services for aspiring authors as well as established authors who may want to do small print runs of their works. As a self-publishing services provider, CedarTree Publishing (CTP) helps aspiring authors to navigate the murky waters of the publishing industry especially self-publishing which has proven to be a better alternative to traditional publishing. Unlike other self-publishing services provider, where the author enters into an agreement that gives the former the under listed powers: - Controls all aspect of the publishing process, from cover art, print style and costing - Owns or has exclusive claim on digital / electronic rights - Authors signs away exclusive rights to their own manuscript - Keeps the lion share of sales proceeds and pays the author a percentage either as a percentage of income like royalty or a percentage of profit - Author is asked to pay an outrageous amount of money upfront before any work can be done CTP does none of the aforementioned. It provides self-publishing services to authors and charges for those services hence has no need to share in the proceeds of the sales or withhold any right to the manuscript.
